Course
Desert Spring is on a plateau
overlooking the Almazora Valley, and is Europe's only Arizona style
desert golf course. The Indiana course, designed by Peter McEvoy was
built to full U.S.G.A. specifications and when stretched to its full
length of 6179 metres, offers the golfer new, unseen and unique
challenges.

Each platformed tee is surrounded by
cactus, rocks and flowering plantations. Each hole has features that can
be brought into play - springs, watercourses, dry river beds, rock and
cactus areas while bunkers are strategically placed to examine the
skills of golfers at all levels of play. Whilst playing, golfers can
absorb the awesome landscape and spectacular views that surround the
Indiana, benefiting from light sea breezes to temper the summer heat.
The front 9 holes take you out in a
northerly direction and then return to finish with a 362 metre dogleg
right par 4, demanding accuracy from the tee with a watercourse fed from
a desert spring running alongside the fairway. The approach of the green
is protected by a desert area.
The course is 6179 metres and par 72.
